I took a lunch break from the Blogher ’12 conference because I was invited to attend a luncheon at Microsoft.

Microsoft was doing makeovers during the Blogher ’12 conference with famed fashion stylist Jeannie Mai. I was thrilled to be a part of the #WindowStyle luncheon held at the Microsoft offices in New York. It’s not that often you get to visit a place like the Microsoft offices.

First off the spread was amazing. Being that I married an Italian I was in heaven with all the antipasto. I even chose “The Godfather” sandwich to eat. Other lunchers questioned the food. “What’s that?” they would say. So I helped them brave the world of antipasto with prosciutto, mozzarella, roasted peppers and more. It really was delish!

We ate, chatted and then Jeannie came out. You may have watched online as it was done as a Spreecast with a few people there in person. Jeannie offered great fashion tips to people online and that were at our luncheon. The best tip I walked away with was to put pads on the bottom of your shoes (yes the bottom) as it will keep your feet more comfy. We are more comfy walking on carpet right? So the theory makes sense. She also talked a lot about confidence. How women need to embrace their imperfections. Confidence is beauty!
