Ever wonder how to make it snow?
Of course you did! As a child you might have done a number of rituals like turning your pj’s on backwards so it would snow and you wouldn’t have to go to school.
After 35 years I finally figured out how to make it snow.
How?
Well… every first snow of the year I always make hot chocolate to celebrate that first snow. I barely ever drink hot chocolate otherwise. Especially when it’s not winter.
Yesterday my hubby said lets have a hot chocolate dance party. Translation = make hot chocolate, listen to music and dance like weirdos. Sounded like fun so we did it. I mean a hot chocolate dance party in the middle of the day? You can’t go wrong with that!
Last night while watching one of our favorite shows “Castle” a weather report came on that a cold front was coming through and we would get snow this morning.
And sure enough… I woke up this morning to a light snowfall.
The moral of this story… drink hot chocolate and the snow will come.
(Should my snow fall and hot chocolate drinking affected you during this morning’s commute, I apologize.)
